I contribute regularly to several healthcare publications, among them “Pain Medicine News” where I write articles based on current clinical studies. I also create monographs, white papers, marketing and web content. Former editor of “Bold Voices,” a nursing publication of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, I developed web content for the University of Arizona’s College of Pharmacy.

I belong to the Association of Healthcare Journalists and National Association of Science Writers from which I've earned fellowships. I hold a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in art history from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb; an Executive Certificate in Public and Non-profit Leadership from Brandman University; a Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing (PRAM) Certificate from the American Medical Writers Association.
