Hi there, I'm Sam...

I’m a Sheffield-based writer, video journalist and content creator who has covered everything from health and technology, politics and communities all the way through to music and the arts. Whether I’m sinking my teeth into news stories, interviews, or long-form copy, I approach each piece with a clear focus: to gain a deeper perspective on the world and always move the conversation forward.

When I’m not chasing down a politician for comment or exploring new life-saving technologies, I’ve been going deep into the depths of culture, exploring the latest and greatest releases from the world of music, film and art. Here, I snap at the chance to support brilliant art from brilliant artists, but also contribute robust, healthy criticism focused on value and education. To keep the written text thriving - to keep people reading more, and more and then some - is the mission.
