Temporary Art Review
I'm Rachele. I'm an artist, writer, and blogger from Wisconsin. I write about art, travel, the environment, and the intersection of the three. I have written for The Wisconsin Gazette, Culturaal, and Temporary Art Review. In 2016 I published my first book called "RVs Are Ubiquitous: Alternative Lives on Wheels."
Temporary Art Review
"The area has some of the biggest and most photogenic hills in Wisconsin, a deep-rooted farming tradition, and, thanks to the Wormfarm Institute, an ever-growing arts culture."
Culturaal
"The guard approached a man wearing a white hoodie with a red, yellow, and blue print on the inside of the hood and said, "Nice Keith Haring," nodding casually at the man's back."
"Most cities seem to share their streets with a population of urban felines, whether they are stray, feral, or abandoned."
"Budapest is one of the top destinations for a relaxing weekend. Its beautiful architecture, ruin cafes, hot spas, and hearty food draw tourists from all over the world."
"Only Klein and Horvat show up. Varoufakis does not attend due to a mysterious "illness," but the moderator also hints at a contract squabble."
The Wisconsin Gazette
"The thing the world is most afraid of is the penis."
"At the end, the crowd let out a collective gasp of delight at the refreshing ingenuity of the music."
"Two theaters stood, swaying in the breeze, in danger of becoming as useless as an old VHS player."
"There's a glowing house in Bay View, a house lighted by shimmering neon."
Book: RVs are Ubiquitous
This book is a labor of love and hate. I started out with the intention of writing a book about the evils of RVs, but somewhere along the way I learned to appreciate the freewheeling spirits who live "alternative" lives on the road.
