I attended Nazareth College of Rochester and earned a Bachelor's degree in communications and media along with a finance minor. Originally from Skaneateles, NY, a small town near Syracuse. I also went to Brooks School, a boarding school in North Andover, MA, which is where I first discovered my writing interests. I love being able to form my own ideas and take a unique approach to tell a story. I'm also an avid hockey fan.

Eastern Conference Round One Predictions

The East brings some interesting match-ups this year, but the biggest question lies with the Washington Capitals. They've had seasons in the past when they dominated the league but couldn't play at the same level during playoffs. Personally, I hope they can keep rolling and give themselves a real shot to win it all.

Nazareth Employee Series: Ms. Leah Stacy

Ms. Leah Stacy is a relatively new face on the Nazareth campus, and both current and future students are lucky enough to have a professor and community member who brings so much to the table. As a professor in the rather small communications and media program, the majority of students may not be fully aware of all she has to offer the Nazareth community.

The Revenant

Just give the guy an Oscar already. He deserves it. Leonardo Dicaprio, the five time Oscar nominee with nothing to show for it, seems to have a serious chance at finally giving his acceptance speech. It's something I'm sure he's practiced many times, and after seeing The Revenant, I think he'll finally be able to put that practice to good use.
