Mary Marandi

Marandi develops programs in public relations, social media and marketing communications designed to support and meet Minor League Baseball's business objectives. She writes press releases, identifies and creates opportunities for national media exposure and manages and executes social media strategies. Marandi also plans and executes Minor League Baseball University and heads the Women in Baseball Leadership Event committee.

Marandi joined Minor League Baseball in 2006 as Club Coordinator in the marketing department and was named Manager, Team Relations/Sponsorship Development in 2008. In 2013, she joined the communications department in a newly created position in the organization, Senior Manager, Corporate Communications. Prior to joining Minor League Baseball, Marandi worked for the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Athens, Tennessee native has a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication with a concentration in public relations and a minor in marketing from the University of Tennessee. In her spare time, she enjoys Red Sox baseball, fashion, interior design, searching for vintage finds and spending time her family and their Boston Terriers.
