NCTJ-qualified freelance journalist and sub-editor with experience and cuttings for a variety of publications including (as of 2012): Press Association, NME, Q, Gigwise, Wine Republic magazine, puremovies.co.uk and South London Press.
I was music editor, arts editor and then editor-in-chief of the student newspaper, The Badger, for three years at the University of Sussex, where I studied History.
After my degree I was elected by Sussex students to work at the students' union (USSU) as Communications Officer. Here I managed student media (including several print and online publications and a radio station), oversaw elections and acted as union press officer and trustee.
