I am currently Editorial Assistant for Slimming World Magazine and have experience of producing original content for newspapers, magazines and online.

I’m a graduate of News Associates London with a Gold Standard NCTJ Diploma in Multimedia Journalism. I have written original news stories and features for local newspapers, as well as national magazines and websites.

I specialise in writing about true life weight loss stories but I have written about many diverse subjects, including entertainment, sport, politics and human interest stories.

I have previously written for FlickFeast.co.uk, Radio Times, Little White Lies, TV Choice and Total TV Guide, SW Londoner, Johnstone Press and the Newark Advertiser.

Jon Favreau to direct live-action remake of The Lion King

After successfully delivering a jaw-dropping live-action remake of The Jungle Book earlier this year, it looks like director Jon Favreau is not quite done with revisiting beloved Disney properties. The Hollywood director cheekily sent a cryptic tweet out this morning teasing that he might be about to board a remake of The Lion King, which was swiftly confirmed by Disney in a press release.

A documentary maker is hoping to humanise London's gentrification debate with his film examining a Lambeth council estate's destruction screening at Brixton's Ritzy Picturehouse on Sunday. Uprooted highlights the plight of Myatts Field North residents who have been forced from their homes as part a Lambeth Council's controversial regeneration project - an essential part of the Labour-led authority's pledge to build 1,000 new homes by 2018.

Single parent families worst affected by welfare reforms as Wandsworth Foodbank sees users surge...

Vulnerable people in Wandsworth are increasingly being forced into food poverty and associated suicidal tendencies by the government's welfare reforms, a new report has warned. Wandsworth Foodbank distributed enough emergency food to feed more than 4,000 people in the last 12 months, according to their annual food poverty report, which is a 25% increase on the previous year.
