Five Weeks Left and NEWMAC Is Not Slowing Down

The New England Men's and Women's Athletic Conference is about five weeks out from wrapping up the season with the NEWMAC Conference meet that will take place February 19-22 at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. The ten teams from the conference that will show up for NEWMACs will be Babson, Clark, Coast Guard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Mount Holyoke, Smith, Springfield, Wellesley, Wheaton, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).

Dan Spencer Gains Lessons Study Abroad Trip to Australia

NORTON - Wheaton College junior Dan Spencer made the last-minute decision this past spring that sent him on a jet across the world. Spencer, the Lyons' top male sprinter, spent the last three months in Australia participating in a study abroad program through Wheaton.

Catching up with Ross Johnston

Ross Johnston, sophomore on Wheaton College men's swim team, is a swimmer to watch for at the upcoming NEWMAC Championships. Last year's NEWMAC Rookie of the Year winner, as well as the current school record holder in 100 back, 200 back, 200 IM, 100 IM, 400 free relay, 800 free relay, and the 400 medley relay, Johnston has not held back in his first two seasons as a collegiate swimmer.

Cathleen Pruden, Project Coordinator of Project Splash

Cathleen Pruden, junior at Mount Holyoke, does amazing things in, and out of the pool. Pruden is the project coordinator for Project Splash. "Project SPLASH! was founded by Cassidy Bommer '13, a Mount Holyoke student who recognized the need for adapted, individualized aquatic lessons in the Pioneer Valley. Project SPLASH!
