Finding a fresh, new way to communicate an old idea is one of my favorite creative challenges.
I’m a strong writer who is known for creating well-developed editorial plans and keeping my projects highly organized. I’ve proven these strengths as media coordinator for Northeastern State University and as editor of a weekly newspaper.
I know how to write content that’s effective: 100 percent of the press releases I sent to the media in 2019 were picked up by at least one media outlet; more than 70 percent were picked up by two or more outlets.
I’m experienced in translating dense, academic writing and technical jargon into language that’s easy to understand and fun to read.
