We all know the "Cool Girl," hell, many of us have been the "Cool Girl" at some point in our lives. The Cool Girl is one of the guys. She goes out of her way to get along with men, claims she has so many guy friends because she just, "gets along with guys better" and "hates girl drama."
In 2015, an estimated 36.7 million people around the world were living with HIV. 25.5 million of those HIV positive people live in sub-Saharan Africa. Of those newly infected with HIV, women are disproportionally affected. Girls and young women account for 71 percent of new HIV infections among adolescents in sub-Saharan Africa.
Love is amazing. It can create change and add value to our lives. But love comes in so many forms! Valentine's Day traditionally has focused waaaaay too heavily on heterosexual and monogamous relationships. This heteronormative ideal marginalizes all other relationships, such as queer, non-monogamous, or asexual relationships.

Tea has long been regarded in the East as a key to a healthy and happy life. Tea has been known to reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease, and diabetes; encourage weight loss and lower cholesterol. It also contains caffeine. (Less than coffee, which can make it a healthier alternative.)
Almay recently released a new line of eyeshadow quads in 15 monochromatic shades. The quads come in four different finishes: satin, matte, metallic, and glitter. The idea is that you can create a monochromatic eye look in your favorite shade.

On Thursday, Harvard announced it would be canceling the remainder of it's No. 1 ranked men's soccer season. The reason: an ongoing practice of the male players ranking the female first year soccer recruits based on their bodies and physical appearance.
Despite graduating ten seniors last year, the Gustavus men's tennis team has retained its impressive depth with the addition of eight new first-years. The team is hoping to use their numbers to propel to new heights and are setting high goals for both the fall and spring seasons.
The Gustavus football team is focused and looking strong going into the Homecoming game against Carleton on Saturday, Oct. 3. The team's record now stands at 4-0 after defeating Augsburg 55-31 last Saturday, Sept. 27, and the men are hoping to carry their momentum into this Saturday's game.
