My name is Kate and I have been an editor and journalist for 20 years.
I have written news and lifestyle features for numerous magazines and newspapers including the London Evening Standard, Mirror, abc-Mallorca, Time Out, Sydney Morning Herald and BA News.
In addition, I have lived and worked in London, Dubai, Sydney and Cape Town and have been editor of P&O Cruises magazine, Upward Curve (a private jet magazine), NADFAS (an arts magazine), Sydney Weekly (a lifestyle magazine) and Hello 2020 (a newsletter supporting the UAE's bid to host the 2020 World Expo).
I have also written travel books for Thomas Cook, Time Out and Greenwood Guides.
Currently, I write about luxury vacation rentals in Spain and Portugal for Oliver's Travels.
I am a member of the British Guild of Travel Writers.
