Julie Patterson

Julie Patterson is the co-owner of One Degree Professional Business Solutions, a company that specializes in writing grants, business correspondences, newsletters and blogs, and training materials. She is an ACEs Master Trainer and a Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer and has provided quality instruction on trauma and brain development across Montana.

Julie received a Bachelor of Science degree from Bemidji State University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She has completed numerous specialized training programs in education and public safety. Julie taught middle school in Montana’s public and private schools for 17 years. She served as the Juvenile Justice Specialist for Montana for 7 of her 9-year tenure with the Montana Board of Crime Control. During 2 of those years she also represented her peers as the National Juvenile Justice Specialist for the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.

Brain growth and development have intrigued Julie throughout her professional and personal life. As a mother of three, she has lived in a juvenile brain development laboratory for 23 years and has loved almost every chaotic, unpredictable, minute.
