Inside Penn State's Beta Theta Pi: The fraternity that killed Tim Piazza

Tim Piazza wasn't supposed to die after a night at the Beta Theta Pi house at Penn State. He wasn't supposed to get too drunk to stop himself stumbling 15 feet down a flight of stairs. He wasn't supposed to fall, again and again, lie on a couch, bleeding internally, and slowly die while his new brothers watched, laughed and did nothing.

Are killer clowns really attacking colleges across the US?

You'll have seen the videos. Blurry, vertically shot, set in some backwater town in a Midwestern state. A bewildered, naive protagonist flees in terror from an ominous figure dressed as a clown. Sometimes it's dark, sometimes the "clown" is nothing but a stranger at a distance.

Swastikas are appearing at colleges across America - but how worried should we be?

Scrawled on walls, marked in fresh snow, taped to a ceiling. On bathroom walls in Virginia, on the gates of a frat house in Florida, a dorm in Wisconsin and in countless other places, swastikas have been appearing on campuses across America. Sometimes the rooms vandalized belong to Jewish students, sparking fear and confusion.

Meetings of the Northern Ireland Affairs Select Committee are rarely so popular that they have to book an overspill room, but today's hearing with Tony Blair was a sell-out occasion, with both the Wilson Room and the Boothroyd Room in Portcullis House packed with people wanting to watch the former Prime Minister give evidence on the On the Runs scheme.
