192nd Fighter Wing soars at Virginia Tech's Military Appreciation Day

The 192nd Fighter Wing, Virginia Air National Guard, held a recruiting event at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University versus Old Dominion University football game on September 23, 2017 in Blacksburg, Virginia. In honor of VA Tech's "Military Appreciation Day", the wing featured an F-22 flyover demonstration, a motivational spirit cheer from various shops on the Jumbotron, and a recruiting tent on the campus.

F-22 Raptor provides refuge for honey bees

Virginia military families help clean state park

Virginia military members from the 192nd Fighter Wing, 203rd Red Horse Squadron, and the Virginia Army National Guard, and their families volunteered April 18, 2015, to help clean and improve York River State Park in Williamsburg. The families served in honor of the Month of the Military Child as they cleared waste and spread fresh mulch on the playground and around selected trees.
