Janet A Leigh

Freelance Film and Food Journalist

United Kingdom

I am a freelance journalist with nine years’ experience in the film and food sector. Since starting my career in newspapers, I worked my way up to managerial position as a food journalist for Hearst UK writing predominately for Good Housekeeping magazine as well as Best, Women’s Health and film/entertainment for Digital Spy and Prima.

A foodie with a real sweet tooth and a craving for all things savoury. I make it my mission to scour the market for the most exciting products to get into readers’ eager hands. Whether it’s the latest trending foods or your cupboard staples, I cover it all.

When it comes to the silver screen, I have an unquenchable Marvel addiction and a love for animation. I've worked red carpet events and round tables interviewing celebrities from Scarlett Johansson to Samuel L Jackson.

I'm skilled at shorthand, easy to talk to (two qualities which are fantastic when interviewing) and I adore the written word. Books and magazines are my best friends.
