Ugg is three for three in Las Vegas. The boot brand opened its third location in Sin City located inside the Fashion Show Mall along the famed Las Vegas Strip. The 2,066-square-foot store incorporates the brand's new fresh and softer store design-one part Ugg's renewed emphasis on its Southern Californian roots.
Rack Room Shoes is making it easier for families to shop on the go with a new app. The app, available for free in the App Store, is designed to enhance loyalty and customer engagement, and offer consumers a seamless shopping experience from in-store to online.
DSW announced last week that it has inked a deal with Apparel Group to bring stores to the Middle East. The agreement will expand DSW into Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and Oman and with 40 stores across the territory, with the first stores opening in 2017.
Bearpaw has added new blood to its team. The company announced the hiring of Jason J. Martini as chief financial officer and Edna De Pamphilis to the position of marketing manager. Martini makes his transition to Bearpaw after working 10 years at VF Corporation. He served as the JanSport Brand chief financial officer for three years.
Former Ugg president Connie Rishwain is bringing her magical touch to Vionic. The comfort shoe brand announced this week that Rishwain has joined in a new role as president of its global business. Celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse is cooking up something special with Jack Schwartz Shoes Inc. (JSSI) for restaurant professionals.
