I'm a Purdue 2020 graduate with a degree in English and a love for communication. I'm currently a content creator intern for Be Well Indy. Previously, I interned as an editorial copywriter/editor with Purdue Marketing and Media where I helped cultivate Purdue's brand across various forms of media. I also have an extensive background in journalism and served a semester as The Purdue Exponent's campus editor.

I am a proud College of Liberal Arts alumna in a predominately STEM-oriented university, and my exposure to both disciplines has made me passionate about creative problem solving through my words.

Other experiences I've had include being a teacher's aide at Purdue Village Preschool and the reading coordinator for Project Transformation's first literacy camp in Indiana. I am also currently a Trader Joe's crew member.

The visual data created compare Purdue's crime rates from 2016-2018 to other Big 10 universities. There are three visuals presented: the first is an effective visual, the second is a counter visual, and the last is an ineffective visual representation of data collected from the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report of each university. The report is an in-depth analysis of the created visuals and the process of collecting data.

Nearly 2,000 dance for cancer research

The grand total was revealed. PUDM has raised $1,065,610.23 in the past year. 9:30 a.m., Sunday Participants formed the "Dream Big Circle" around the entire gym moments before the reveal of the grand total. Many linked arms and swayed to the music. Before revealing the total amount raised by #PUDM, participants join together in the "Dream Big Circle."

Toxic fumes, mold and cockroaches the size of kittens are just a few problems faculty members have reported in an academic building, and nothing seems to be getting done. Heavilon Hall has major issues that have repeatedly not been addressed, according to Dorsey Armstrong, the head of the English department.

Sheriff who led standoff worries about officers

BOONE COUNTY, INDIANA - The Boone County sheriff who led a multi-agency police standoff Thursday with a Tippecanoe County rape suspect says he wants to ensure the officers on the scene receive the mental health services they need. Boone County Sheriff Mike Nielsen described the event as "traumatic."

Virtual reality: The new education prescription

Pharmacy students will soon be able to gain more hands-on experience with virtual and augmented simulations that will be implemented into the program. Steven Abel, a pharmacy professor at Purdue, teamed up with the Envision Center to create a virtual cleanroom: a sterile environment where medications are prepared.
