Twelve senior designers and their collections, that they have been working tirelessly on, are about to hit the stage for the first time. It feels almost like I'm sitting third row at New York Fashion Week.
Local artist Amina Harper shares her thoughts on painting, community, and what it takes to thrive as an artist. Amina Harper has been a Minneapolis-based visual artist, freelancer, and published author for the last nine years. Although she was born and raised here, her initial interest in the arts led her to Portland, where she attended Pacific Northwest College of Art.

Minneapolis is a hub for art and culture. New galleries are constantly opening or large events are being held at art galleries what seems like every couple of months. AGG Art + Home had their grand opening on Nov. 5. The gallery is new to Glenwood Avenue and the metro area.
