I have a BA in Film Semiotics. While in university, I started working for english magazine Dazed & Confused, as an editor for their international project “Satellite Voices”. I was in charge of managing the italian editorial staff, organizing contributions as well as writing and editing many features myself. This experience led me to write about film and art as a freelance writer for many Italian and European publications, both on print and online. From 2013 up to the end of 2015 I was in charge of content of an online short films portal, for Italian independent distribution company Good Films. I co-developed this project from scratch, and attended several international festivals in search of shorts to distribute, dealing with producers and right-holders to obtain online exclusives for our portal and the blog we later launched on Huffington Post Italy. I also overlooked and managed every content featured on the portal, writing many articles and reviews myself. In 2015 I joined the organization of an Italian Film Festival, Il Gusto della Memoria. Other than overlooking the submissions, I also managed the Social Media accounts of the festival, in close contact with the Press Office. I’m currently translating and adapting films an tv-shows for Italian dubbing, at Sefit C.D.C.
