Emily Gilmer

Emily is a junior at Oakland University with a major in journalism and a minor in advertising. Emily graduated high school with honors achieving the summa cum laud rank from Clarkston High School. Emily’s passion for writing has been around since she was 13 years old and has persisted ever since. Along with writing, she has also been involved with her high school’s television production team and worked to solidify her skills in script-writing and editing. If the opportunity arose for her to need to travel to any Spanish speaking countries it would pose no challenge as she has been immersed in over five years of learning the language. Emily is also interested in the field of literature and films as well as news reporting for hockey.
