Hi there, and welcome to me -- a writer-turned-communicator with an aptitude for process and strategy.

Writing is something that I have enjoyed since I was in elementary when my Grade 3 biography was "published" (ie. laminated) and posted on the classroom whiteboard for the entire school to see. It was a big day and launched my love of this creative field.

I graduated from MacEwan University with a Bachelor of Communication Studies majoring in Professional Communication. I focused on classes that gave me an even mix of strategic communication, technical communication, and editing/publishing. This has given me a well-rounded approach to the world of communications, allowing me to adapt to any project at hand.

My skills have been used in the service and retail, post-secondary, construction, and marketing industries. Most recently, I was the Communications Coordinator for a forest products company, acting as a global liaison for the company's operations to hone in on successes in sustainability.

When not strategizing and writing, I am home with my hubs, boxer, and great dane, picking a new book to read or deciding which Fire Emblem game to replay.
