Fort Hood Spouses' Club holds 37th annual Holiday Bazaar

Area residents got a jump-start on their Christmas shopping Saturday as they flocked to the 37th Annual Fort Hood Spouses' Club Holiday Bazaar, held at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center. More than 125 vendors filled the banquet hall with a variety of gift items, such as wreaths, ornaments, hand-made home d├ęcor, clothing, knives, art pieces, jewelry, quilts and beauty products.

Food for Families drive in Killeen breaks record

The 29th annual Food For Families food drive at the Killeen Special Events Center on Friday had a goal to collect 250,000 pounds of food for the Food Care Center. A lot more food than that came in.
