Dena Jackson is a Toronto-based comedian, writer and speaker. Her work has been featured on the CBC and the Beaverton and she’s performed at clubs and festivals throughout North America including the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC’s LOL and JFL 42. She’s also had the privilege of performing multiple shows in Alaska for the U.S. Military. Dena’s debut album, Blue Lights reached number one on the iTunes Comedy Charts and can be regularly heard on SiriusXM Radio.

In 2018 Dena delivered a wellness inspired TEDx talk which received a multitude of views on Youtube and on TED's renowned site. She enjoys speaking to university and college students as well as corporate audiences on the benefits of mindfulness practices to improve our mental health.

Mindfully Coming Back to Life

Hi. Thanks for reading my very first newsletter. I hope that your week is off to a good start and that you've had some laughs or a release of some kind. I was recently performing on a Zoom comedy show and someone farted. I think it's fair to say that person got their release.

Woman returns from weekend yoga retreat as life coach

VANCOUVER, BC- After returning from a two-day yoga retreat in Northern British Columbia, Vancouver resident Brittany Fitzpatrick, 24, has declared herself a life coach, despite a complete lack of certifications or credentials. Fitzpatrick's parents say they paid for her to attend the retreat because she seemed unsure of what to do after finishing school and starting an unsuccessful makeup channel on YouTube.

Man claims to no longer relate to city life after 48 hours at cottage

ETOBICOKE, ON- After two beautiful nights at his new cottage in northern Ontario, Phil Jacobs claims to be having a difficult time readjusting to city life. Jacobs explains that after just two days spent immersed in the cottage lifestyle, the slower pace of life has affected him so immensely that he has forgotten the purpose of modern technology and is no longer able to relate to those who live in large urban centres.

Acceptance is the Word

Wow, where do I begin with this newsletter? It honestly feels like a lifetime has passed since the last one was sent out at the beginning of December. Maybe that's because it really has? Since I wrote to you last, the city I live in and the city that you might also live in (Toronto) was up and running in full force.
