In my current position as a senior analyst for Medicare Advantage communications, I communicate to our contracted providers through newsletter articles, online alerts, emails, etc., to provide the information they need to treat our members. As a content writer and copyeditor for zipLogix, a real estate software solutions company, I wrote content for B2B audiences using newsletters, social media, website and emails. At Revolution Lighting, an LED lighting manufacturer and distributor, I did the same and also researched and wrote case studies about projects and wrote articles for industry publications.
During the COVID-19 public health emergency, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services temporarily waived certain requirements and allowed flexibilities for providing telehealth services for behavioral health care. The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023, extended these flexibilities through Dec. 31, 2024. Some of these flexibilities will become permanent.
