Losing yourself In Bruges - The College View

Bruges, any reasonably cultured Irish person will know, is a fairy-tale town, isn't it? All those canals, bridges, cobbled streets and those churches, how could it not be somebody's thing? Despite having just ripped off an entire quote from the magnificent movie 'In Bruges', it remains true.

The unpopular side of popular opinion - The College View

Popular opinion is a strong force and something which is becoming a lot more prevalent in today's society. Nowadays we see groups of hundreds and thousands voice their shared opinion to make a change, more than often constructively. But does that mean that popular opinion is a good thing?

The expense of experience for students - The College View

As students we're constantly told that we are the future of whatever industry we're looking to get in to and that our work should be valued, but how can we believe that when we're also told that we may have to work for free?

The danger of normality - The College View

It's no secret that young people are incredibly impressionable, especially young girls. With the growing dominance of social media in young people's lives, influencers need to recognise this as they are a big part of young people's lives. These photoshopped images have a lasting impression on young people, they see these images and perceive them as normal.
