Chatteris' own Caroline Lengyel gives us a glimpse into her trip to mainland. This Christmas I took the train to mainland China. It was my first major journey beyond the familiar borders of Hong Kong and I alighted at Guangzhou Station, alone, damp with terror. I changed my SIM card.
Wondering what it's like to live in Hong Kong? Have no fear, because Chatteris' own Caroline Lengyel is on hand to describe a typical day living in Sham Shui Po, a bustling district near the centre of Kowloon... Sham Shui Po is Hong Kong's true center - its jack-of-all-trades- its food, tech, toys, cheap clothing, cheap fabric and cheap coffee Mecca.

But let's be real, the hunt never stopped. New favorites include: I heard this coffee was special and it did not disappoint.

In 1929, the Thayer family summer home atop Turkey Hill, built by Ezra Ripley Thayer, prominent Boston lawyer and Dean of the Harvard Law School, burned to the ground. His widow Ethel rebuilt in the same location, sparing no expense in the reconstruction.
High Street Cemetery, founded in 1681, is a private cemetery located on seven acres in the center of Hingham. The cemetery contains some of the town's oldest graves, including those of George Russell (died 1694), Jane Russell (died 1688), and Mary Jacob (died 1694).
