Cameron L. Alford

If I have learned anything in my 31 years of living, it's that life is truly not about the destination! It's about the journey to get to that destination and I've had quite the ride. I was the oldest of three in a single parent home until my sophomore year of high school. After which, I left the small town life for little place called Atlanta, GA with my dad. After graduating from high school, I worked as a preschool teacher's assistant for a year before I made my first major life altering decision. In 2006, I enlisted in the United States Navy. The military chapter of my life has been one that I have been writing for the last 13 years. In this short time I've traveled the globe, been to war and have met some of the most amazing people I've have the pleasure of knowing. I'm currently working towards my Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with plans to follow it up with a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I recently completely my teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) certification as well. Once my degree goals have been attained, I will be bringing a close to the military chapter of my life, moving to China to teach English to children and go back to doing what I love most which is working with kids. My end goal is to move back to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a career in film & television by way of acting. I will pursue and achieve my goals by any means necessary......all legally of course! :)
