Avis Yarbrough started writing in 2006, but by 2009 she had put down her writing cap due to a chronic illness, but, feeling better now, she has begun writing again. While she does have niches-healthcare (menopause and homecare), mental health, and food- she enjoys branching out and tackling projects that are outside her niche and considers herself a writer that can help clients engage with their readers with articles, interviews, blog posts, press releases, and book and product reviews. Avis likes to read romance novels and classic literature and knows that reading helps her to be a better writer. She does book reviews for Romance Review Today.
She has an A.A degree in English from Harold Washington College and a B.A. in General Studies from Roosevelt University. She can write copy that informs readers while also being engaging.
