National School Walkout: Hundreds demonstrate at Ball State, Muncie Central High School

MUNCIE, Ind. - "This is what democracy looks like." That's what hundreds of Ball State students were chanting outside on a brisk Wednesday morning. Some were holding signs. Some wore bracelets. All were there as part of the National School Walkout, a 17-minute walk to call for legislation protecting students from gun violence, while honoring the 17 victims of the school shooting in Parkland, Fla., exactly one month ago.
