Tea lights left student with third degree burns after photo shoot went wrong

Posing in a friend's bathroom, wearing a simple white cotton dress, the teen was hoping to capture some arty shots for a photography project. They had lit the room using candles, including tea lights on the floor. But as Crystal Turner-Brightman, 17, struck a pose, the flame of one of these candles caught her dress - setting the youngster on fire.

Macauley Collinson will never smile. It's not because he doesn't want to, but because a one-in-a-million disability has robbed him of the nerves in his face. Doctors told his parents he would never walk or talk, but the brave man has defied the odds and now wants others to see past his disability.

Bus driver 'kicks school children off vehicle on dangerous road'

A BUS driver is facing disciplinary action after children were left stranded on a major road. The pupils, from Perins School, Alresford, were left to walk along the A32 near West Meon after the No 67 driver claimed a fallen power cable had prevented the bus from completing its journey.

VIDEO: Car engulfed in flames in outside Pizza Express restaurant

By Ashleigh Wilmot FIREFIGHTERS rushed to a Hampshire town after flames engulfed a parked car on Wednesday. The fire broke out at around 5.25pm in Broad Street, Alresford, with the town's firefighters quickly arriving on the scene. Video shot by a member of the public shows a firefighter extinguishing the flames a shortly afterwards.
