Chella Courington's creative writing class held an open reading on Dec. 2 on East Campus for students to read their fiction pieces to an audience. Jon Vreeland, president of the creative writing club, called up volunteers to stand in front of the audience and read excerpts from their writings.

Honors student presidents are pushing for City College to offer more math and science classes to students pursuing an honors degree, but face a complicated process. Right now the majority of honors courses offered are liberal arts classes, making it difficult for science or math majors to complete the requirements needed.
