Rising strong cowboy camp

Touch of Haven- Horses Healing Humans is offering the first Rising Strong Cowboy Camp in Ontario. This one-day workshop will be held at their Dunnville location on March 4, 2017. Touch of Haven is an Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) certified program which partners an equine specialist with a registered mental health professional.

Distracted riding

Written by: Amelia Jaggard Mobile phones have changed the world and it seems their influence is starting to change the horse industry for the worse.I recently competed at the National Barrel Horse Association World Championship in Perry, Georgia. Over the course of this week long event, I witnessed a shocking amount of riders using their cell phones in the warm up pens.
