Ally Rogers

Communications Specialist & Public Affairs Officer

United States of America

I'm curious by nature and a dedicated hard-charger. I always ask a lot of questions and refuse adverse answers without understanding the entire situation.

These two qualities, along with my fierce determination, led me to journalism and eventually the communications industry. Beginning as a reporter, it became my mission to not only provide every relevant fact, but to write stories in a way that brought the readers into the scene. Running a four-page newspaper section refined my expertise in writing, editing, photography, layout, and design. Quickly, I began rounding out my industry-related skills through speechwriting, social media coordinating, and working media-relations matters.

For each office at which I’ve worked, I regularly served as the subject matter expert and point of contact for the communications efforts. Always prepared to answer hard questions and supply supporting documents, I regularly responded to inquiries from Senior Executives, DoD Leadership, and Congress.

My never-quit attitude and energetic personality makes me a tremendous asset to any team.
