I am an education professional who is passionate about writing and editing. I currently work as a Program Manager at an education organization for low-income and at-risk youth. In directing the college access program, I love helping my students write their application essays. I am particularly skilled at helping them find their voice and edit long essays to 650 words or less.

I have worked as an editorial assistant at the Jewish Telegraphic Agency and Lilith Magazine (a print and online quarterly for Jewish feminist issues). I pitched and wrote articles and copy, and edited articles for publication.

Personally, I am a freelance writer who particularly enjoys creative nonfiction and travel essays.
