Jamie Dickenson

Freelance Writer and Journalist

Read History at the University of Leeds (graduating with a 2:1), before completing an NCTJ Diploma in Journalism with the News Associates (achieving 100wpm shorthand and six other modules Grade A-B).

Since finishing my studies I have started a job working on the webdesk for the Daily Express and Daily Star newspapers, working nightshifts uploading paper content onto the website.

I also freelance for Ladbrokes, working weekends writing betting articles for the news.ladbrokes site.

Having gained experience working on a number of titles during my studies such as FourFourTwo magazine, Men's Fitness magazine and Sabotage Times (online) I feel I have the necessary array of skills that the modern journalist needs.

I am fully NCTJ qualified, specialise in sports and betting and am available for commission.

Also an Arsenal fan.
