This summer, Shakespeare in Clark Park, a Philadelphia theatre company, will present its next performance, "Henry IV: Your Prince and Mine," in collaboration with Team Sunshine Performance Corporation. The production will show from July 30 to August 3 at 7 p.m.

On the evening of March 12, a resident of the West Philadelphia community was robbed at gunpoint at the intersection of 46th and Hazel streets. Television crews occupied several blocks of Spruce and Locust Streets from March 11 to 17 as ABC filmed the pilot episode of its new drama TV series in and around a house on South 42nd Street.
Members of the University City Historical Society voted unanimously to support a new proposal for construction on the historical mansion on the corner of 40th and Pine Streets. The proposal will allow for the preservation of the now-abandoned 19th-century mansion. "We are an historical society, so as you expect, we'd like to see it preserved," said UCHS president Melani Lamond.
