"We're going to give him a opportunity, whether that's tomorrow, I'm not sure yet, but he will get in this week for sure," Penguins head coach John Hynes informed the media after Tuesday's practice at Toyota Sportsplex.

COMPILED BY MIKE MAZZUCA FEBRUARY 19, 2000: Robert Dome scored twice to lead Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to a 3-1 win over the Louisville Panthers in Wilkes-Barre. The teams were tied as they began the third period until Dome scored the game-winning goal with 8:11 left in regulation. Mark Murphy provided the insurance goal two minutes later.

WRIGHT TWP. - The heroics of captain Ruby Mattson lifted fifth-seeded Dallas to a 2-1 overtime win over host Crestwood, the fourth seed, Thursday night in the District 2 Class AA girls soccer quarterfinals. The winning goal stemmed from a simple play. Sophomore Hollie Holthaus, who picked up a goal as well, cleared the ball toward Mattson.

Dean's List Christopher Jarrett Way II has made the dean's list at the Rochester Institute of Technology B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences. Jarrett is currently working his RIT co-operative assignment with Intelligenesis in Columbia, Maryland. Haley Kavelak of Townsend was named to the summer 2014 dean's list at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

"Stop the Hate" Program Presented at Scranton

The University of Scranton's United Colors Organization and the Debate Society will present "Stop the Hate," a diversity training program, on Saturday, Oct. 25, from noon to 3:30 p.m. in the PNC Auditorium of the Loyola Science Center. The event will include a debate on the incidents that took place in Ferguson, Missouri.
