On August 14th the Cobb County Department of Transportation opened "non-cost technical proposals for Engineering Consulting Services" for the design of planned pedestrian improvements for Mableton Parkway between Discovery Boulevard and Factory Shoals Road. What this means is that qualified engineering firms may present plans for how they would carry out the work specified in the Request For Proposal outlined on the Cobb County DOT website.
