Jessica Waites

Copywriter/Editor

United States of America

When I was deciding on a college degree, I knew I wanted to be in an industry that was creative and exciting. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s in Communications, and soon after, I got my first copywriting job at a Houston-based Advertising Agency. It was exactly what I wanted to do in my career! Over the past 10 years, I have honed my skills in writing for radio, TV, web, direct mail, social media and print. During this time, I have also developed proofreading skills that come from years of writing, rewriting, editing and re-editing. My ultimate goal is for the “voice” of the client to come through in my writing. I strive to identify the exact mood, message and concept of each individual campaign in order to produce the best results!
