Hope graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University with a B.A. in English (Creative Writing) & Theatre (Performance). Her work in New Orleans included writing features for Tulane University's official news publication New Wave and editing tech startup Tenbo Air's marketing blog. As a student, she won the 2012 Janice Torre Perky Award for Original Writing from Tulane for her first play, Monopolis.

Author Susan Choi to spend a week on Tulane campus

Acclaimed novelist Susan Choi brings her talents to Tulane University next week as the 2014 Zale-Kimmerling Writer-in-Residence. Choi will give a reading and be interviewed by Tulane English professor Zachary Lazar on Monday (March 17) at 7 p.m. in the Freeman Auditorium of Woldenberg Art Center, sponsored by the Newcomb College Institute.

International Shakespeare on the Road team visits Tulane

Sixty days. 25 states. 39 productions. 10,000 miles. A team of international Shakespeare scholars and connoisseurs from the University of Warwick, Misfit Inc., and the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust visited Tulane University on Thursday (July 10) as the second stop on an epic road trip to visit and document 14 Shakespeare Festivals across North America.

"You Don't Know the Half of It" highlights New Orleans' innovative comedy scene

New Orleans is known for many things, but not its comedy scene. That may soon change, thanks to a cultural renaissance that has made the city a magnet for young artistic talent. "You Don't Know the Half of It," a bimonthly show that pairs improvisers with actors, utilizing local playwrights and musicians, epitomizes this movement.
