MOTOR SPORT. THREE Nissan Motorsport fans have won personalised race shirts after participating in a Western Advocate competition. The custom-made shirts are the first of their kind to be produced by an Australian motorsport team. Bathurst woman Michelle Curry was thrilled when she won a shirt.
Bathurst 1000: Top Ten Shootout results 2014 Mark Winterbottom has placed second in the Bathurst 1000 Top Ten Shootout, putting him on the front row of the grid on Sunday. After falling behind early in the shootout, Winterbottom, 2013 winner of the Bathurst 1000, had some catching up to do.
FROM last to first. Ford's Chaz Mostert and Paul Morris took an extraordinary win in the Bathurst 1000 that pushed drivers, cars and the circuit to their limits on Sunday. The Ford racers secured a victory ahead of Nissan's James Moffat and Taz Douglas in a battle that saw favourite Jamie Whincup run out of fuel in the final lap.
