Specialising in fashion, beauty, lifestyle and entertainment content.
I've contributed to various magazines and websites including: Marie Claire Australia, Glamour UK, Mindfood, Remix, Shop Til You Drop (Australia), Nzgirl.co.nz, Thread.co.nz, Localist.co.nz, Stuff.co.nz, Co. of Women, Together Journal and the New Zealand Fashion Museum among others. I recently wrapped up my role as Editor of New Zealand's longest running fashion website FashioNZ.co.nz after over six years at the helm.
In the past few years I've also created website, advertising, eDM and social media copy for various brands and publications including: Trelise Cooper, Thin Lizzy Beauty, New Zealand Maritime Museum, Paula Ryan, Verge, Localist, Nzgirl, Moochi, Vodafone, Heliocare, The Big Idea and FashioNZ.
I graduated from the London College of Fashion in February 2012 with a post graduate certificate in fashion and lifestyle journalism. Previously, I graduated from FBI Fashion College in Sydney, Australia with a diploma in fashion business in December 2010. Well before that, I gained a certificate in film and television production from South Seas Film and Television School where I first explored my love of writing.
Fashion and beauty are my specialist subjects but I have a great deal of knowledge in many other areas including: food, entertainment, art, literature, travel and design. I'm passionate about telling women's stories in particular and consider it a privilege to have interviewed many intelligent, passionate women who are leading the way forward in New Zealand and overseas.
This portfolio is a curated selection of some of my published work to date (mostly journalism). For further examples of my work especially copywriting please contact me.
