Racism in Idaho: Protesters challenge Mountain Home High School's decision to cover up painting

People in Mountain Home willing to talk about a controversy over a Black Lives Matter painting in a Mountain Home High School parking lot said it was overblown. But it also clearly exposed some complicated questions about racism in town, to the point that the mayor and officials from nearby Mountain Home Air Force Base expect to release a joint statement on the paintings flap Friday.

Moffat County High School football team under investigation for hazing incident

The Craig Police Department and the Evanston Police Department in Wyoming are investigating an alleged hazing incident that occurred at the Moffat County High School football team's annual football camp June 18 to 20 in Evanston. According to two parents of the students who allegedly were hazed, upperclassmen reportedly targeted freshmen with harassment and physical assault.

Moffat County mink farm raided, future unclear

A controversial mink farm in Moffat County may be out of business because an unidentified person or group released the animals from their cages Thursday. The Moffat County Sheriff's Department currently is investigating the issue, so it couldn't release many details, but it was certain that this was an intentional act, Cpl.

Leroy Fief, the 49-year-old Craig man currently on trial for the murder of Shane Arredondo, has broken down in tears several times during his ongoing trial. While he maintained a calm demeanor in the trial's first days; he cried when his wife testified and while he watched his own confession tape.

No Inspections for Oregon Zoo Restaurants Since 2006

About two weeks ago, the Oregon Zoo acknowledged 135 people got sick after eating food prepared by at least one zoo restaurant. Health officials suspect the cause was a norovirus, which is passed from human feces. WW has learned the zoo's restaurants have not undergone a county health inspection since 2006.
