Mangum Holds FAMU Sustainablity Forum During Inauguration Week

As Florida A&M University inaugurates President Elmira Mangum this week, the school held a sustainability symposium Thursday to reflect one of her priorities. Professors and local officials joined students at the event on the FAMU campus. Bond Elementary Promotes Gardening Education

Local Tallahassee organizations are coming together to create and operate a class garden for Bond Elementary School fifth graders. Soon Bond Elementary School fifth graders will be elbow-deep in dirt. Graphic design students to create storm drain art

Students at Florida A&M are creating campaigns to promote awareness about storm water pollution on behalf of FAMU's Environmental Health & Safety Department. Students from fine arts professor Harris Wiltsher's Foundation of Design class will be painting murals on certain storm water drains around campus, using non-toxic Sherwin Williams's paint.
