Dave Mark is the Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of KiddarMetz LLC and its parent company Kiddar Group Holdings, Inc. Mr. Mark is an investor, entrepreneur, and bestselling author. Mr. Mark was a founding investor in Honest Tea (recently purchased by Coca Cola). He has numerous real estate investments, both residential and commercial.

Along with his duties as Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Mark also manages Kiddar's real estate R&D arm, bringing a technology focus to every Kiddar project.

Mr. Mark has founded and sold a variety of publishing and broadcast ventures, including SpiderWorks Publishing and nationally syndicated radio programs like The David Lawrence Show and the Net Music Countdown. He also was a Vice President at Metrowerks, a provider of embedded and desktop software development tools, when it was purchased by Motorola, Inc. In addition, Mr. Mark has written more than a dozen books on technology, including a number of Amazon bestsellers and a recent #1 programming book in the country, Beginning iPhone Development. Mr. Mark is also a prolific blogger, posting daily about tech topics on The Loop.

Mr. Mark holds a Bachelor's Degree in Advanced Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Stanford University.

AnandTech's namesake heading to Apple

AnandTech CEO and Editor-in Chief Anand Lal Shimpi is retiring from the tech publishing world and moving on to Apple to rejoin AnandTech colleague Brian Klug, who left for Apple earlier this year. Anand started AnandTech when he was 14 years old. He's now 32. That's a long run.

Alleged iCloud security leak patched by Apple
