Project Ice helps freeze crime rates in Rexdale

Rexdale / Etobicoke North Toronto Police took an ice-y approach to reducing crime rates this summer. Project Ice was a short-term initiative that took place from mid-August through to Sept. 2. This project was operated by Toronto Police Service's Toronto Anti-Violence Intervention Strategy (TAVIS) program, in an effort to reduce the amount of gun use and gang violence in the Jamestown and Mount Olive area.
